Beach pics

We are having such a great vacation! Mak and Clara Beth are in love with everything about the beach...the water, the sand, the canal. Makgill is so exhausted after staying up waaay past his bedtime for four nights in a row. And he gets up at the crack of dawn and refuses to nap. There have been some pretty heated tantrums in this house. But he has amazed us with his new found love of the water! The boy who HATES water in his face is gone. He's swimming in the pool, the canal, and even jumping off of the dock. We are so proud of him!

Clara Beth likes the canal, but she isn't as big a fan as Mak is. I think it's that she doesn't like wearing the life jacket. She really likes the pool, though, because she only has to wear her swimmies. And she would stay on the beach all day if we would let her. This has been the best beach vacation with them yet!


Apples have been the favorite beach snack of Tal and CB. Tal is always so sweet to share with his cousin!

We had fun burying Daddy and Mak the other day.

Mak LOVES it! He gets so relaxed and nearly falls asleep every time!
