Disney Day 2
We pulled into our home for the next 4 days, Pop Century. For awhile, Mom tried to get a reservation at one of the monorail hotels, just because we thought it would be easier with the two kids, but there was no availability. Yup, it was THAT CROWDED. I'm glad we stayed here, though. This is where we are staying in October, and it was nice to be able to check out the resort. We all really liked it. The kids especially loved the HUGE Disney icons and theming. Mak only asked once to sleep at the Polynesian! The buses weren't really a problem at all. We rarely waited longer than a few minutes, and were only on one crowded bus. And people were so nice! They would see two women with two strollers and two kids, and almost always take one of the strollers from us. And the one time we were on a crowded bus, a nice man gave up his and his son's seat for me and the kids.
Mak called Daddy to tell him we were there!
Baby CB clapped with excitement!
Playing under the check-in counter
Getting to the room
We just had a quick snack/lunch in the food court before heading to the parks. The food court wasn't bad at all. We only ate here twice, but both times it was really good and there was a huge selection of different types of foods.
Boarding the bus headed for MGM.

Professional Disney Bus rider. One of his favorite rides at Disney!
My gift from Collin, an annual pass! Thank you, Honey!
First stop, the NEW Playhouse Disney show. It was FABULOUS!
They sat in awe for most of it.
Then CB danced with her Li-Li
And Mak caught bubbles. They were truly enthralled by this show. It was so great and I can't wait to go back!
We then headed over to the Little Mermaid show. Ariel is Miss CB's favorite princess right now, and again, she sat enthralled. I LOVED watching how much she loved the "magic" of it this trip. She's still talking about Ariel!
Those were the only two rides we did at MGM this trip. Since it was so crowded, and we were just there in December, this was more of a "highlights" trip. The plan was to catch a boat over to the Beach Club resort, eat supper at Beaches and Cream, and head back to MGM for Fantasmic.

We saw this face the entire trip. She was amazed by EVERYTHING.
And we also saw this face a good bit. She was TIRED. This is when we decided that Fantasmic wasn't happening. We would just head back to the hotel and all go to sleep.
Mak and CB each got a Mickey Sundae. Mak's was green, and CB's was pink. Their favorite part was the oreo ears. Mak calls oreo filling "dried ice cream". Cute!
And Mom and I split this delicious peanut butter chocolate sundae. YUM!
Sending Daddy a video
We went back to the hotel, bathed the kids, and everyone was asleep by 8:45. The plan was to make it to Animal Kingdom by 8:00am for rope drop the next morning. Besides the few temper tantrums, we had a great first day!
