Happy St Patches Day (a little late)

That's what Mak yelled to me on his way out the door to school Monday morning. CUTE!

Mak had a great time at school Monday. Apparently, a leprechaun got loose in his classroom and messed the whole room up. Tables were turned upside down, lessons were messed up, little leprechaun foot prints were all over the place, and he even tee-teed green in the toilet! Guess who found the tee-tee? What is it with my boy and potty related things? Are all 4 year old boys like this? Anyway, it made a huge impression with Makgill. It's all he's talked about all week!

Clara Beth has become obsessed with Makgill's teacher, Miss M. She talks about Miss "Mootin" all the time. On the way home from church Sunday, she even started crying to go see her! I have no idea why. She just brought her up out of nowhere. She also thinks she's supposed to get a "prize" whenever she sees Miss M. So when we picked Mak up from school, Miss M sent her home with a yummy rainbow jello treat. She loved it!
And finally, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a neighborhood parade. Rebecca told me about it, and I'm so glad she did! I heard about the parade last year, but had no idea how huge it was. There was a fire truck and police cars, and hundreds of kids on bikes, strollers, scooters, and golf carts; all decorated in green (Except ours. We'll do better next year). We all had so much fun. I think this may become a tradition!
Li-Li joined us for the parade
Tree-climbin' dare-devil
We met up for a little while with Jessica, Parson, Lilah, and their NaNa.
Mak's in time-out for throwing rocks. He looks remorseful, don't ya think?

We watched the fire truck go by, then Rebecca, Tal, Mak, CB and I joined the parade.
Tal kept climbing out of the wagon!

Laid-back, enjoying the ride
He wanted his picture made with the fire men

She liked the fire truck too!
GREEN cupcakes!

This was back home. I just like these pics of my boy. I love watching him rig things up and playing with them. His latest thing is connecting all of his trucks together. And he's REALLY into trailers right now.

Hope you all had a great St. Patches Day!

Sounds like Mak has a great, imaginative teacher, a leprechan in the classroom huh? pretty cool! Love the pictures of Mak on this post! He looks like he's been having a pretty fun week. Owen loves to hook all of his cars and trucks together too and drive them around the house! Happy Easter!
